My background and experience
I'm a plain English copywriter and mortal enemy of corporate waffle, who helps businesses and brands speak to people with authenticity, personality and clarity. I specialise in punchy, benefit-led copy across all forms of digital and print and, whether it's B2C or B2B, I absolutely always write H2H (human to human). It just feels more honest and believable. I don't stick to any single industry or discipline either - one day it could be top level copy lines for a Jaguar social media campaign, the next a product description for some LED bike lights in the shape of a scrotum (seriously). What qualifies me? With a decade and a half of copywriting experience, I have a track record of writing the words that persuade people to part with their cash. As a trained journalist, I know how to capture attention, how to tell a great story and, most importantly, how to research. That last one's the clincher because, before I can create that crucial emotive connection between you and your audience, I'll need to find out all I can about your customers, markets, products, competitors... the lot. |
