My background and experience
After ten years working as an Adult Speech and Language Therapist, I’ve learned a thing or two about effective communication and what makes people tick.
I started writing professionally in 2015, and since then have been working as a full-time copywriter, creating clear, concise, and captivating copy for a range of clients.
A generalist writer, I’ve worked in-house and on freelance projects with small businesses and large organisations to find the right words for their websites, blog posts, product descriptions, online marketing, and advertising.
You name it, I’ll put great words on it.
What qualifies me?
Experienced in working with a diverse range of clients, I’ve also gained qualifications in marketing and writing, including CIM certification and a copywriting diploma with distinction from the College of Media and Publishing.
Continually investing in my own professional development, I build on feedback from clients and peers, and attend short courses and copywriting events whenever I can.
I relish the challenge of making ordinary products and services sound interesting, even exciting. Making the most of my genuine love of words, I use their sounds, their appearance, and how they make you feel to create memorable, and always original, copy.
I also keep my creativity honed and ready for action by taking part in @OneMinuteBriefs on Twitter and writing children’s stories in my spare time.
